Hi, I'm Emily McHaney!
I’m a proud local of Daphne, Alabama, a town I’ve been fortunate to call home my whole life. My husband, Parker, and I are high school sweethearts and we married in October 2022, sharing the most unforgettable day with our closest friends and family. Now, we’ve planted roots right here with our two fur babies, Bacca (yes, like Chewbacca) and Cleo, our first born “daughter”!
My journey into photography began during my college days at the University of South Alabama, where I earned my Communications degree. It all started with graduation sessions for friends, and before I knew it, my business was growing through word-of-mouth. Over the past four years, I’ve fallen in love with capturing life’s most meaningful moments, whether it’s capturing the excitement of a newly engaged couple, the laughter of families gathered for the holidays, or the glow of a graduate stepping into their next chapter, I feel so grateful to freeze these moments in time for you to cherish forever.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m embracing my other creative passion: marketing. I’ve been working full-time in this field since college, and I love that it allows me to express myself in a completely different way.
I feel so honored to help preserve the stories and emotions that make life beautiful and I am grateful to be able to pursue this passion of mine through all of your support.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about fitness, spending time with family and friends and exploring new places with my husband. Mexico and the Caribbean have been our favorite escapes so far, but we’re dreaming of Europe for our next adventure.
